I haven't been on top of this whole blogging thing for a while, I've been snowed under with work (sadly both university and Oxfam related).
But I have managed to keep a social life, which means I have a little bit to write about for once.

Heading back North
After my trip to Bareclona (a beautiful city, there's a collection of photographs on my previous post) I stayed home for a week.
You can clearly can take a girl out of the North, but not the North out of the girl - being back in Manchester even for a day felt like being home.
Definitely my city of choice after London.

Univeristy
My Law course is up and running, as I'm in my final year it's a count down now until I get to escape.
I've loved my time in education and I've managed to achieve something many women in other countries have never had the opportunity to, I will always be thankful for that. But my brain is in dire need of a break, so my walks to Univeristy now include taking the long way round by the Thames to remind myself of how lucky I am.

Brighton
Heading to Brighton for the day was my much needed break from work and Univeristy.
Of course I did all the tourist activities like eating chips on the beach, having a go on the slot machines at the pier, visiting all the quirky shops and genuinely falling in love with the place.
There's an amazing little Japanese place just off the Lanes, which is so cheap for what it is! Amazing veggie food and the house it's in is adorable.

Richmond
This was a spontaneous trip after work on a Sunday evening. I am so glad I ventured out there with my friend (who took the photograph of the bikes by the park may I add), the pubs were adorable and the park even when pitch black are beautiful.
