My sister came down to London from Warrington to stay for a week, the weather was beautiful which her a brilliant opportunity to see the sights, Instead we chose to sit in the dark for two hours to watch a classic come to life on stage.
We caught the matinee show in the afternoon our seats were brilliant, in the stalls straight in front of the stage. The production had a very relaxed atmosphere due to its contemporary style, I highly recommend seeing it whether you have read the novel or not.
The production was ever so sympathetic to the novel, and tackled the complex issues wonderfully. The cast received a standing ovation at the final curtain, so if you're in London and thinking of heading to the theater it is really worth the money.
